I started in BKK .. flew to Ubon  arrived 8.30 ..catched the bus to Pakse  9.30-12.30 (200baht)..passed immigration had to pay for Lao's imm 50 baht.....get tuk tuk 40 B. to Lak 8  for get songtaeaw to Nakasang .It took 3 hours to Nakasang ..get boat to Dondet 60 B ( 2 people) stayed at suksan GH  250/n  

Bajiang  tad phasuam rent moterbike 250 B  32 km from Pakse

I bought sarong ( handmade from Karieng hill tribe) 480 B.. reasonable prices

were trying to smoke tobacco with honey and sugar can..hats made from Hump ..he told me 100 B could wash by hand  but I did not buy it
